Teacher Comments:  All book reports should contain information about the characters, setting and plot of the book. The book chosen should be one that either fits the current theme or has been pre-approved by the teacher.  Students should prepare one of the types of reports assigned in the current theme.  All students are given a booklet at the beginning of each theme describing the reports.  Examples of all reports are shown on-line.  Most materials for the reports can be gotten in the classroom or are easy things to acquire at home.  Reports should be made by the student and not the parent.  Students choosing lengthy books can pre-arrange to report on a portion of the book.
