Five Story Beginnings

In this lesson we will explore five different ways to begin a story. For each beginning, you must have the same prompts that are listed below:
a restaurant
a boy with a hat
a girl with a hat
cold weather
hot cocoa
Each story beginning must be at least 15 lines long. (not sentences) It is just the beginning of the story, not an entire story. You will be concentrating on details and description and trying the new technique.
The five story beginnings are:
