Friday Take-Home Folders

The main means of communication between parent and teacher will be the Friday Take-Home Folder.  Each Friday, or the last day of the school week, I will send home a folder of graded papers that your child has completed during the week.  Papers receiving an acceptable grade of above 75% will be placed on the left side of the folder.  On the right side I will place papers that need to be completed or redone.  Students will have one week to make corrections and return them to school. Also inside will be a Take-Home paper on which I will write comments concerning the week's work or behavior.  Children will receive a seal of approval if they have turned in all homework on time, have not had any behavior infractions during the week, and do not have any grades lower than a C in their packets.  Parents are asked to check this packet and sign the Take-Home paper and return it and the folder on Monday.  There is also a space for your comments or questions.  Feel free to use it.

A Mid-term report will be sent halfway through the marking period.  It will be sent instead of the Friday Take-Home paper.  Parents should sign and return it also. When report cards are sent out, a Friday Take-Home report may not be sent if the report card day is a Friday.
