Math

At this time in the school year students should have a good working knowledge of the multiplication and division facts. Students should have mastered adding and subtracting with regrouping. Problem solving is a major part of our math hour. Students are instructed on strategies to solve problems, correct way to explain solutions, and proper terminology. Work with mental math is done daily to build quick computation skills.
