Family Poems

Sisters

Some are funny.

Some are smart.

Some see you

right from your start.

They fight

but that’s quite all right.

Cause sisters stick together in any weather.

by Joya

My Brother

My brother is smaller than me.

But he is still older than three.

He is seven.

In two years I’ll be eleven.

So he is not older than me.

Brother

He’s a mess.

He’s a pest.

He is a test.

He gets in my day.

I don’t get to play.

by Justus

Granddad

My granddad is sweet.

He is so neat.

He makes me chicken feet.

Oh, I love my darling granddad.

Dad

I love my dad.

He helps me with my homework.

I sometimes drive him crazy.

But I wished he’d stop sleeping.

Mom

My mother, my mother.

My old, old mother.

My pretty, pretty mother

Who washes my clothes.

As you can see.

I love my mother,

My mother, my mother.

Families

Families help you learn

and watch your grow.

With them you can learn at home.

Which is better?
Learning school or home.

I can’t decide how about you?
Moe, my big bro.

            by Towand

Oma

Oma is fun to play with,

Cool to be with

And very creative too.

            by Mikayla

My Brother Keen

My brother is smart.

My brother is fun.

My brother is fast and athletic.
