More on Characters!

Since HTML won't let us display all fonts correctly, many web page designers opt to substitute graphics for the desired fonts. This is okay, but it takes up too much memory. Even though you can cause our Macintosh/PC computers to form many characters using the option commands, most browsers still won't support the desired fonts and/or symbols. To get your browser to display foreign characters you must use character entities. There are two types of entities, numeric and text. Capitalization and non-capitalization of entities is necessary to get accurate results. Start by referring to the following web sites for descriptions/codes of character and text entities.
